Speaking of titles, another school year is over so now I have to think of a new blog title! It should be up within the next week, but judging from my lack of posts this month, no promises.
I don't know why I got so excited to leave school for summer break. What have I done this summer? Nothing. I am literally the human form of a potato!
I have a reading assignment, I know that much. I picked a book called "Make Lemonade" and, for someone who can't spell to save her life, I find it very hard to read this book. That or I'm to lazy.
I went to the fourth of July party that the neighbors down the street held. They all seem very nice, and clique-y. But they seem like a fun crowd, so it was nice to meet some people. No one my age though.
Did I mention I have to walk to school? We live that close. It's weird to describe, but even though the high school I'm going to is open enrollment, it is more of a neighborhood school, if that makes any sense. And, since I literally turn a corner and see the school, I have to walk. I won't miss the bus, but walking? Ewww.
On Monday I signed up for my classes. There was so many options! A little to many, I think. I think it would have been easier to pick if they were described more, too. Like, gym for example. Is there no regular P.E class in highschool? Apparently not. So I signed up for team sports, I figured that would be easy enough. Rather that than weight training. But then when we were leaving my mom told me she wouldn't have signed up for that, and that she would've went for another class. She said there probably won't be many girls in that class. Now I want a new schedule.
I'm taking Chinese, that's for sure. My mom is making me. I want French, but Chinese is just as well.
Another thing I found out about my school is that they are part of a forgein exchange program. SCORE. I am beyond thrilled. Even though I will have to wait until my Junior year, I now have the opportunity to go and stay somewhere else for my school year! Literally, that is the only thing I want in high school. I want out of here.
In other news, I got my One Direction jacket! Ahh! I was so happy, I kept jumping around everywhere and couldn't stop smiling.
LOVE IT.

Something In My Window
Even though I'm a teen and it's summer, I still need my sleep.
That's why, thanks to whatever pour soul fell into my window, I am up at 2:30 with my dog. Not only that, but I also have had an ever increasing headache thanks to the bright light in my room.
Go back to sleep. You say. Ignore it. You continued. Ha. Not likely, whatever fell into the crate of doom surrounding my window- is stuck. It is physically impossible to get out of that cage without climbing the ladder. Even still, after the past twenty minutes, this creature has yet to figure that out.
At first it was a hard thud, which woke my dog up. Then it proceded to jump (ram?) itself into the window, making it difficult to get any sleep.
And my family is asleep.
I have no phone.
I am stuck.
Great.
Figured I'd inform you, since I have literally nothing else to do. Slowly watching the time go by.
If my parents complain of my moodiness, it was the thing stuck in my window. Not me.
Any one want to keep me company?
God Bless,
Love

Summer is Halfway Over ...
Not much has happened since the last time I updated, usually I just spend my days on the computer, not knowing much about what happens outside. I do know, however, that the Colorado fires (last I heard) had in fact gotten worse. To the point that people were begining to get evacuated. Thankfully, it still is not close to where I am, because thhat would be terrible.
I've started to get used to living here. Sometimes I have those moments where I'm look at my window thinking I'd see trees, but instead see a metal barrier, since I am in the basement.
Whoever came up with timezones should be slapped. It is so hard skyping with someone, and when it is only 10 pm Mnt. zone, it's 12 Eastern time. Oh well. At least when school starts, it wont be as hard waking up, right? Kidding. I sleep until 10 every day.
So today I think the plan is that we all should be going to the Colorado Aquarium today! This will be the first real thing we've done as a family all summer. But..a part of me knows it is a bittersweet thing. Sure, we get family time, but there is always siblings fighting. Usually being Maeve and Declan. Aidan and I get on great, because we're older and dont care about the little petty things. I hope that the fighting is on the down-low though, because it isnt often where we can go out as a family.
