Vacation

Spring break is not the only place where you can go on vacation! You know how my Spring Break went, but how about my summer?

OK, I admit, I kept it a secret from you guys. But! I am (can you guess?) up north! I wont tell you where, for privacy reasons, but I will definitely explain what I plan on doing here!

On Thursday my Nana, Papa, cousin Shamus, and I all went onto an Amtrack auto-train. I love trains, so it was definitely something I wont forget. We got on at 2:30 and left at 4. The interior was marvelous and the ride was smooth. But-- the train stopped multiple times so it could fix an engine. (No complaints, I like to live!) Since the train stopped so many times, our arriving time was expanded, and we arrived at 10:15 (original time: 9:30). Now, rewind a minute. We got at the station at 11:59 the day prior and when do we get our car? *Note: it oes not matter what time you show up to the station, they randomly pull your car* Turns out we were one of the last cars picked. :'( But! We still had enough time to sight see in what else? DC! (The train stopped at Virginia) At DC, here are the places we hit:
  1. Lincoln Memorial
  2. White House
  3. DC cupcakes shop
  4. Vietnam Memorial (very sad)
  5. Smithsonian of Natural History (loved everything about it!)
  6. Washington Monument
Also, to make the experience better, we saw a Presidential motorcade! Since it was my first time in DC, it was definitely something to remember. And if we crossed the street at the exact time, we would have been in front of the PRESIDENT! Cool, right? After getting our cupcakes, we headed down to the hotel.

The next day we drove for nine hours. Nine hours of singing, and crazy acting. So I will spare you. :) When we arrived on Saturday we got some Subway, and ate. But then we got a visitor! My Uncle Tom, who I haven't seen in years! It turns out Shamus (Uncle Toms kid) and I went bowling , then they spent the night, and we went to Church. Now, listen to this:
While Uncle Tom was in the house, our neighbor in front of our house was backing up and didn't see Uncle Tom's car. Borrowed car. Everyone but Uncle Tom was outside and all you hear is glass shattering. I look and the car is heading to the ground, but then shot back up. The woman shoots up her driveway and runs over here saying, "I'm sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" One by one her kids exit the car and look at the car. Of course, nothing but a paint job is needed for her car. Well, he left that day with Shamus and needed to return the car to his friend. And just recently I heard, his friend (which is a girl) was totally cool with it! Well, at least she isn't mad. On the outside ;)  Hopefully I will see them again.

Yesterday we went looking around Main Street (that is all I will tell you about my location!) and when I go looking again, I will get some stuff! :D I cant wait. Then we went to an ice cream shop called 4 Seas Ice cream shoppe. It was very good.

Today I went with Nana and Papa to go see my great-grandmother, Nana Fran. While we saw her, my (grand? Great? what do you call your grandmothers brother?) Great? Grand? Uncle. I don't think I have ever met him, but he seemed nice. :) Nana Fran though was very friendly and nice. She has a dog, Toby. This dog is so protective of her! I gave it a biscuit and when it looked away, I pet his neck. (BIG mistake) He snapped his head back and tried to bite me. Luckily, I shot my hand back quick enough for him to take a bite out of the air! He then started to bark. And bark. And bark. Other then that moment, he was so sweet! Ha ha. I'm not used to a mood swinging dog ;) But after we came back from shopping (Nana Fran, Nana, and I) came back to her house and he let me pet him! Then walked away casually.

So, I will update every couple of days, but I needed to today!

Counting Down...

So much stuff has happened this week! But I don't want to brag, so here is a sum- up!

Monday we went to Chick-fil-A. I am trying to think of what else we did, but all I can think of is Aidan going to baseball practice (yes, he has baseball all this week. I mean, I don't think college pro's work this much! *Oh yes they do, Aislinn!*)
Tuesday we went to the mall. I LOVED the mall (And cannot wait to go again!!) I don't know, maybe it's just a girl thing. Then we had lunch, and went to places like Plato's Closet and Hobby Lobby. Now, I know this week isn't what I had hoped would happen, since I wanted one week (just one week) to myself, with my parents of course! But since my brother stayed home for baseball, this week is 'do stuff in the day, baseball later' and it is always baseball! I know some of my family reads this, so I wont go in depth about it.

So, I hope your summer is doing as good as mine! Bye!

Android, Boating, and more

Summer! OK, I can apologize and sympathize but I can also skip that and jump into my blog post! What do you say, are you with me?

Recently my 2 siblings took a trip to Florida, and with that break from them I have gotten to spend time with the rest of my family. Today, my Mom, my brother, (who didn't go to Florida, even though I think he should have) and I went to go see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It was very good, and I recommend. There were some scenes that I had to cover up my eyes and plug my ears though, because of the scary-ness xD But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Tomorrow more excitement will come, so goodbye!

Phone Mess Up!

So yesterday I decided to post again on my blog. (Yay!) And since I have a phone now, I thought why not try posting from my phone? I type up my post and hit 'SEND'. Then, I am instantly notified that my post is on my blog. As I log on today, all I see as my 'post' are a bunch of jumbled-up letters and symbols that look like Keyboard Gumbo.
So, this post was to apologize about the confusion. Thanks!

Burn Baby, Burn!

My pool party yesterday was awesome! I had a really fun time. Here are the pictures I promised:

After we ate most of the food xD

Emily and I

Amelia and I

Amelia and I

Erica and I

And those are just 5 of a bunch!  I had a lot of fun. I invited 8 people, and 1 said they couldn't come, but get this. My friend Jacalyn (not the bully) said she could make it, did she? NO! I think it is very rude when you invite someone over to your party and they say they can come, but they blow you off!! It's like wasting an invite! And during the party Amelia (who's parents are getting a divorce) called for directions, she asked me if she could bring over her lonely eleven year old friend. Since I didn't know the girl, or her family, I said a flat-out no. And thankfully, she said that she could still come. I just dont like it when people think it is OK for them to invite someone else to tag along to the party. If I wanted them to come, I would've given them an invite. You know? Anywho, the title is not just part of a song (I think it's 80's) but also because of me. I was very stupid and forgot sun-screen. xD So now I am burnt. Like a hot-dog that was left on the burner for 5 hours past cooked. So, if you didnt get that simile (I think it is called) then let me dumb-it-up: I went 5 hours in the sun without sun-screen. Get it now? Hope so cause I'm moving on!
My party was fun, and I am going to spend my Sunday relaxing and on Skype. Ah. How fun :)

Type to you soon!

I'm Trying to Make this Title Sound Cute...Yeah, not working.

I started today off with a 7:30 wake-up to go vaccum the pool. Ugg. So I'm out there, right? And all I hear is bzz...bzzzz...bzz.bzzzz. Over and over and over! One here, one there, they were flippin everywhere! Those stupid, ignorant bees! Ugh! So I move faster, trying to clean the pool, but minus the bees. Nope, more fly over in front and behind me! Ugh! So I called my dog to come over, and she just walks away. (Thanks, Molly.) So I call her again. Still, not even a paw is lifted. (Love you too, Molly.) So I threw put down the equitment and packed it up. Not even half of the pool is done. Special thanks to the one and only...Molly.

Today is also a special day for me. My 2'nd annual Pool Party! :D I invited 8 people, all of them said they could come. One, Jessie, said she wasnt sure. So I text Jessie and ask, and she says, 'Oh, I know I cant go. I cant come, sorry.' And she even said the first part! Uh, I didnt ask you and I didnt know, you might have, but not me. Then she goes, 'Sorry, luv you!' (Nowadays when a teen says 'I love you' or 'I luv you' it is a sisterly 'i love/luv you' So I go, 'Ok have fun camping' (But my phone but coming so i was like oops coming) then I didnt reply. In my perspective, you dont assume the person knows, you know? Haha. So my pool party is going to be awesome, I cant say everything because I dont want you showing up to my house! As usual for the pool-party, I dont except gifts. (But if you bring one, I dont hesitate to thank) Kidding. Anywho, I cannot wait. I will take a lot of pictures and add some here, so you can view. Now I have to go, probably back to sleep, but oh well! :) Haha.

God Bless and Have a good Saturday,
Aislinn
p.s: the dog above is my dog <3 (Yes...It is Molly)

Three Strikes and Your Out!

That's not the case for every game. Especially, if that said game is in All-Stars.

Baseball is a well known sport. The rules are many, but simple. Like, 3 strikes and your out. But, that of course depends on the type of baseball. Now, I know what you're thinking, 'There is only one type of baseball you bimbo!' Yeah, okay, sure. NOT! There is more then one type. Like:
  1. A, B, C, & Babe Ruth Baseball
  2. Kirkland's Scott (at least where I live)
  3. All Stars (stay tuned)
Now, if you do not know anything about baseball, then what is the use of this article? Ha! This article isn't all about baseball, so at least you wont feel stupid the whole article. ;) Kidding.

For those of you that read my blog, countless times have I mentioned my siblings, Aidan, Declan, and Maeve. The thing about Aidan is he plays baseball. It's his thing. He has practiced and played and practiced and played for a lot of his life. Just this year (correct me if I'm wrong family) he made All-Stars. All Stars you could say is a BIG honor. In all of the All-Star there is a total of 6 teams. Aidan was picked to be in one of those teams! Now, the concept and general rules are hard to explain but I will try my hardest to keep it simple:
On Monday, 4 out of the 6 teams play ball. Each on a different field, so 2 on one field, and 2 on another. Now, the loser team of the two that played first then battle the other loser of the team that played second. Whichever team loses of those two, is eliminated. In simpler terms, double elimination and your out! Get it? If not, oh well!

Anyway, Aidan made it into the All Stars, and the county we live in hasn't ever made it past the first night. (Bad, huh?) Well guess where he stands? Second place in the division. Tonight is his last game. Not only will his face be in the paper (cool, huh?) and he will be going against the same team he fought first! (If you ask me, that team was favored by the score-keepers, cause they were given extra points for no reason!) Any who, that team is first in the division, since they didn't win against us. Grrr. And since they haven't lost a game, the double elimination rule is stronger then ever! So if we beat them the first game, we have to play them again for double elimination. Tiresome, huh? So, good luck Aidan and hopefully you win. Even though I wanted to go to the game, I cant. So right now I'm chilling with the family. Peace!

Good luck & God Bless,
Aislinn

Something To Blog About

It's 11:20 right now, and already so much has happened!
Today on my calender was one of my friends party. Amelia's. And, it was gonna be fun! :D Yesterday, my friend Astraea was calling and asked if I could come pick her up, so I said I'd get back to her. So the day came and went, and on to today we are! At 11:02 Astraea called again. I told her since my Dad took the car I wasnt sure if I could go, but I would call her back soon.

Flashback!
Recently Amelia told me that her parents were geting a divorce. :'(

So I told Astraea that and she said, 'Well, are you assuming its off or are you sure?' I told her I was assuming. 'Well,' She began, 'Its probably still on, and just something on her mind.' I told her I would call her back. So we hung up and I texted and e-mailed my Dad. Then I called Astraea and let her know I would keep looking out for Amelia, we hung up. But, then. I got a *DING* from my phone and it was a G-mail message. Clicking, thinking it was my Dad, I clicked it. But no! It was from Amelia! :D I clicked it and it read
/quote:/

...the partayy is moved to another day, we weren't ready just yet.

/end quote:/

Instantly I called Astraea back and told her. 'Oh.' she said, sad. 'Ok, thanks Aislinn.' I said welcome and hung up.

Then I vacumed the pool.

And alas this tale must come to an end, good day! Good day sir! Lol jk
Bye!

Were off To a...Confusing start :\

As many Blogger's know, a first impression is a crucial one. One that helps explain who you are, and what your personality is. Well, my friends, I have one very crucial task that I am confused about, how to change the blog template. Did I hear a gasp out there? ;) Kidding. Yes, the blogs background, you could say, is like a first impression. Usually when I flip through blogs I see three kinds of templates:
  1. Ugly. This template's simplicity is so boring I instantly click away.
  2. OK. This template has some work in it, but not enough. I scroll through a little.
  3. Perfect! This template is so eye-catching it makes me want to read along.
Now, I know I shouldn't be talking. I mean, how old is my template? ( I mean no harsh effect to the creator) But, you want your blog to be pretty, useful, and eye-catching, right? So, my fellow bloggers, help! I have found the cutest template that would be perfect for my blog, and I ask that you comment your words of wisdom and helpful-ness to my blog. :D From one blogger to another? (Inside I think I'm getting to cranky, but oh well!)

On another thought, how many of you use 'Spell Check'? Be.Honest. I don't :D And the reason is because I think I know how to spell. (Cue giggles, lol's, and rofl, and lmbo's) Ha...Ha... So earlier I was flipping through my earlier posts, and I know why Spell Check is an option! So people like me (Who are so terrible at spelling that in the middle of class when your teacher is grading your paper she says, 'Boy this person cannot spell! Yeah, it can happen.) who think they know what they are doing (when really we are too far gone) don't in fact know anything about spelling! I didnt know how to spell 'pamphlet!' (Truth be told, I had to use spell check to be sure I spelt it right that time!)

All in all, dont be stupid like me and think you know what your typing when really you dont ;)

With Love,
Aislinn <3

*Cue spell check~!
