Read Between the Lines ...

 Merry belated Christmas!

 Lately, I have been waking up around 4-5 AM. Crazy, right? On Christmas Eve, I expected this to happen, and it was hard. I couldn't fall asleep, and on top of this, my brother was up with me! (Aidan, Maeve, and I all slept in Aidan's room) As the hours ticked by, we could not wait for 7. Usually around 7 Dad will come and get us to let us know that we can come out. Then, finally, he came in. After telling us to wait a few more minutes, we were at last able to come out! One by one, in a frenzy like way, we burst out of the room- somehow I always end up in the back- and went into the living room. Right under the tree were presents. Dozens of them! And in front, were our stockings! On the couches were Nana, Nanie, and Papa. Mom was at the front of the room, and Dad was by the computer, filming it all. Maeve instantly crouches by a box, and opens it. I, who was stunned and trying to decide what to go to first, picked up my stocking. I then walked over to my usual spot on the couch where I put my presents, and found that Declan was sitting there. I then sat down and began to look at what Santa had left for me in my stocking;
  • 2 movies: Soul Surfer and Water for Elephants
  • Winter Gobstopers
  • Colorful zebra socks
  • 4 mini lotion bottles: Paris and Be Enchanted
  I then sat my stuff down, and walked over to the pile of gifts. Each of my siblings had a box with them, and were getting very cool stuff. I pick up one box and open it. It was a book from my Aunt. One by one, faster and faster each time, I picked up boxes. In the end, this is what I got;
  • Video Camera
  • 4 books : 3 from House of Night and Cross my Heart and Hope to Spy
  • Tee from Paris (I love all things French!)
  • 2 Nooks
  • Lots of clothes
  • Boots
  • purse
  • laptop cover, and more!
 Each year, my Mom orders these delicious muffins from Tastefully Simple. They are coated with cinnamon and are so good when warm! On top of that, my Mom also makes Egg Strada only on Christmas day. With these two things and fruit, the meal is truly delicious. Unfortunately, days before Christmas we had not yet ordered these muffins. Thankfully, days before Christmas we had received not two- but three!- boxes of these muffins. They were truly delicious!
 The next few days were a lot of fun, unfortunatly on Monday my Nana and Papa had to leave to go home. My Nanie, who was still with us, then taught me how to sew! She gave me one of her sewing machines and that night I made two things;
  1. purple purse
  2. pajama bottoms for Maeve
 The next day, Nanie left to go home, too. I didn't do any sewing this day, but I did go on the Wii and play with a lot of the new toys we got on Christmas. Later on that day, Mom and I went to Barnes'n'Noble to go return one of my Nooks. While my Mom returned, I looked at Nook covers. I found a couple I really liked, but settled for one that looked like paper, but at the bottom read, Read between the lines ...
~*~*~*
Yesterday I, finally, got to finish my sewing. Nanie had cut me an outline of some pj's and today I was finally going to finish them! Halfway through, I realized that I sewed both legs together, and had a really big skirt. After cutting, I started again, only to see that part of the fabric for one leg was not entirely sewn. Great. In the end, I had finally sewn a somewhat good pair of pj pants.

Christmas Eve

 First off, Merry Christmas Eve everybody! Can you believe it? It still does not feel like Christmas! Or December, for that matter! Maybe it is because the South has been very sunny (and quite warm) recently.

 On Wednesday, Nana and Papa came. It was very fun, we socialized and had a good time talking and catching up with one another.
Thursday was the day Nanie would be coming, and before she would show up at our house, Nana & Papa decided to take me, Aidan, Declan, and Maeve to the movies. Our options were: Alvin and the Chipmunks 3, We Bought a Zoo, and the Muppet's. We ended up going to see the Muppet's. It was a pretty good movie. Ma-naw-ma-naw! When we got home, Nanie was already there, and it turns out that she had been there since 1:30.
 Today was quite a flurry of activities. I had not been sleeping very well, and had woken up many times during the night. But the first time I woke up, the Christmas tree light was on.(Nana & Papa had been sleeping in my room so Maeve and I slept in the living room.) This was at 2:30-3:00. Then, I heard footsteps. I looked around, and saw Declan coming. He walked over, and began to pet Gypsy, our cat.

''What are you doing?" I mumbled
''Petting Gypsy." Was his reply
"Wait, how did you know she was there?"
"I saw her."
This was weird. "Wait, were you the one who turned on the Christmas tree?" I asked
"Yes." said Declan.
"Can you turn it off? It is bright!" I said. He did, thankfully, and I went back to sleep.

 The second time I awoke, was around 4:30-5. First, I saw Declan walking around again. Then Aidan. Aidan, who had Molly with him, decided to let her out at 4:45 AM! Now Declan decided he was going to get breakfast. I was not fixing on being up at 4:45, so I went up to him and told him to go back to bed.
"No." Was his response.
Now, instead of dealing with him at 4:45, I went and got my Mom. When I told her about Declan and how he was getting breakfast, she instantly got up and sent him to bed.
 The rest of the day was fun. At 3:00 me, Mom, Nana, Papa; Aidan all were going to be going to Christmas Eve mass. We got there around 3:30 and had to wait for a while for mass to start. Luckily, we got there early enough for good seats.
 When we left, we went home for dinner. Dinner was ham, broccoli, corn, potato souffle, rolls, meatballs, and cranberry sauce. Dinner was very good, and if we ate all of our dinner, we would get peppermint ice cream! Definitely a good dinner. Now, I am sitting here. My siblings have gone to bed, and I hope that I too, can get a good nights rest for tomorrow.

So, good night everybody, and Merry Christmas Eve!

5 More Day's 'Till Christmas . . .

  Does it feel like Christmas to you? I know, 5 days until Christmas, I better feel like Christmas! But ... it doesn't. Maybe it is because this month has flown by, or because the stress of cleaning and shopping for company has distracted me. But, when I hear the song, ''Where are you, Christmas?" I think, Christmas has been here since Halloween! How can you even ask that!? But, still. With 5 days to go, it just doesn't feel like Christmas!
 ~*~*~*~*~*~
 Now, last week we left off on Wednesday. This was the beginning of our 9 weeks testing. Drama and Social Studies. But, before the testing we still had homeroom.
 See, my teachers ''dream'' in homeroom (she has a lot of these ''dreams'') was that we (as a class) would finish the book ''Walk Two Moons'' by Christmas Break. In 2 days. So far, we were at about half. So her dream was, unfortunately, not reality.
 Drama was boring. We had to take our test, and it was the exact study guide! The thing is, we don't really do anything in class! Literally, we don't even take notes! Its like a free class!
 Since the last 3 days were exams, I am going to go straight the the rest of the exams. Save you some extra minutes of reading!
 Health was alright. I got an F. Yeah, I hate admitting it, but it didn't even affect my grade! I still have an A! However, the class average was in the 70's. I think.
 Science was HARD! I am telling you, the beginning was OK, but after that I had to re-read the questions like 2 times to slightly comprehend what it was saying! (Alright, so that only happened with a few, but still! And, I am not slow. I just had to re-read to get what the question was asking!)
 Math was alright. I don't know what I got, but the questions were not as hard as I thought.
 Language arts was easy!!!! I mean, you half expect to see, Where does your name go? (I actually had that on a test last year!!!)
 Social studies was also very easy! All that studying payed off! Ha. I made around an 84..
 ~*~*~*~*~*~
  On Saturday, my first day of Christmas Vacation, I had to wake up around 6:30. Yep, 6:30. Why? Aidan (my brother) and I were going to run a 5k! It was called The Big Dog Jingle! My Dad would be taking us, since my Mom has gone to the past 2 races. When we got there, at like 7:30 (The race started at 9, or was it 8:30?) The tee-shirts were SUPER cute, and very green. Like, neon-reflector green. I am wearing it right now, actually.
 Sunday was like another lazy day. Later on in the day, Mom, Aidan and I were going to go to this one big house with over 90,000 Christmas lights (they add more every year.) but since Aidan wasn't feeling good, plans were postponed.
 Monday was good. Originally, we were going to go to Target, but couldn't. Then, we were going to go back to the Christmas Light house, and since Aidan was taking a long time to eat, he said that we could go without him. So Mom and I left to go to the house. Afterwords, we went to Walmart.
 ~*~*~*~*~
FINALLY! You are all caught up!
 Today was a cleaning day. Well, a finish cleaning day. You see, we were supposed to have company come but plans changed. Instead of Nana & Papa coming today, they will be coming tomorrow. But that didn't stop the cleaning. So we scrubbed and brushed and washed. Now, when they come tomorrow we will have a clean house.
Other then that nothing else is happening!
Stay tuned!

Glee? I Think Yes .

 This week has gone by so fast! It's about time, too! I cant wait for this week to end, but I know that Christmas break will be very fun, so I am looking forward to it, too! So far this week,
 On Monday, we found out who made the competition (The V.S was to see who would perform at a competition) . And...? Coffee Break didn't make it. This made me ticked. Not only did C.B not make it, but my teachers favorites (Like always!) made it. Even some that made no sense!!! How UNFAIR! After being told this, she gave us the ''no group is better then other groups'' speech. Please. This just makes me so... angry. Why is it, that she always picks the same people? If people saw her through my perspective, then they would know.
 On Tuesday, we were supposed to get our score sheets from Friday. Unfortunatly she didn't have ''enough'' for each student, so the group leaders (as far as I know) got a copy. Asking around (nobody seemed to have C.B'S sheet) I finally got to B, who was our group leader. I asked what we got and she said, ''We got all 'goods'. '' That was it. The big explanation as to why we didn't make it? Please! I know why we didn't make it, and I don't need a score sheet to prove it. The teacher has favoritism. We all (probably just me, because everybody seem's blind to her unfair ways) know that she had the last word. Ugh. And then, they made announcements for drama club tomorrow. As if! Pshh. I mean, it is fun if you are a leader in that but if your not? What fun is making halloween costumes for the drama officers? (Can you guess who they are?) With duct tape! Anyway, something rude that happened to me today, was the seat arrangement. S, a girl in drama class, sits next to me because she doesnt know where her seat is.
The teacher says, ''Everyone in their assigned seats.''
 S, ''I dont know where mine is. ''
The teacher, ''Where do you sit when I gave you your seat arrangement?''
Now, she did not specify who she was talking to, and said this very mean-like. She didn't even look at me. So, thinking she was talking to S, I look at S.
S (along with other people in class), ''Aislinn...''
Me: ''Oh. A.'
 You see, she didnt even look at me, or specify who she was talking to! And in her harsh voice, that was very rude. Even when I got up to ask her a question, she very rudely would say, ''Yes.''
~*~*~*~
 Also on todays agenda, was health. After completing my study guide, I sat quietly while reading my book, Pretty Little Liars #4.
 In science class, we watched a video on atoms and molecules. Talk about boring. I so badly wanted to fall asleep, but out of fear she was watching me, I chose to stay awake. After the grueling 16 minute video, we got out second study guide paper and began to work on that. Thankfully, she did not call on my name to do the study guide, because I did not know some (most) of those answers. :3
 Math is now a game. People talk so much, (usually it is the same 8 people) that instead of punishing them, the teacher gives us tests and whatnot. This is the 3- (or is it 2?) - pop quiz in her class, from the past two weeks! Ridiculous!
 Language and Social Studies were both boring, and after realizing I have math homework (thanks to those talk-a-tive ones) I must go.

Friday

(Continued from last post...)
When I woke up, i knew I had to go. So I gathered my clothes, packed extra food (I was NOT paying $5 for pizza!) and got ready to go. My Dad drove me and my brother to the bus stop, which was great for my hip! (Lately, my hip has been hurting, and walking on it can hurt/ be tiresome) At school, I felt good. I was not upset that I was going, but happy. I realized that if I had chosen not to go, then I would have regretted it. Last night my Dad had told me, ''Whatever you chose, do without regrets." That's exactly what I did.
 Since my day flew by, I will start with the Variety Show first.
After class practice in 2'nd period, the next practice was after school. However, during practice in 2'nd period, my friend S told B that she couldn't stay for the V.S. The teacher, who also found out today, told her that since she wasn't staying, that she would sit out of practice and watch. So that was what she did. Looking at S, I was glad that was not me. I made a commitment, and was going to stick to that.
 At 2:50, I grabbed my stuff from my locker, and walked toward the cafeteria. Practice was OK, instead of practicing we ran through the show. The teacher told us the order of the groups, and thinking we would either be first, or one of the first, I was mistaken. Instead of being first (or one of) we were the 3'rd to last. Talk about jitters. And get this, when we went up (to run through without an audience, just in front of the others who were performing) the announcer (who is in two of my classes!) got my NAME WRONG. Thanks A LOT , A!
 Once the practice run-through was over, the teacher told us that we had an hour to eat and rehearse. She also said that those who paid got to get 2 pieces of pizza (5in-by-5in squares!!!HAHA!) And those who paid and who didn't pay, could get sodas! Then, when everybody who paid got pizza, anybody (paid or not!) could get pizza! Talk about SCAMMED!
 B was stressed. As the instructor of the group, it was hard on her. Nobody was listening, and you could see the tears welling in her eyes. Then, C (who had a solo) must have gotton on her nerves, because she yelled, ''GET OUT! GO NOW, BYE C!" He looked around like, ''What?" "LEAVE!" She screamed. She had reached her limit. With him finally gone, we had to rush to find a person who could do his solo, and this was very last-minute.
 The teacher, who was informed with everything, put him back into our group. ''One more chance.'' She said. But one chance didn't cut it, he was out within minutes.
 During the V.S I was nervous, I was shaking, and the more acts that passed, the worse it got. Before the V.S started, those of us who were left, group prayed.
 When we were backstage, C was back with us. He said he wanted to pray, so we all prayed.
 Going up there was nerve-wrecking, I was very jittery. But when it was over, the fall made it complete. I wish I had photos, or even a video, but I dont. On Monday we will find out who made it. Except, the teacher already told her favorites who made it, so who knows.

PS: The test I had to take on Saturday went GREAT!

Where I Last Left Off ...

 As we last left off, it was Thursday; the eve of the Variety Show. Many times on Thursday I questioned myself, wondering if I should go through with it. Here were my reasons:
To Go:
  1. See friends
  2. Looked like fun
  3. I have practiced for so long, didn't want to give up
  4. I didn't want to let people down
  5. I am in drama, so why not be in a drama performence
  6. I didn't want to not go and have people be mad at me
  7. Make my mom happy (She said she didnt care, but that made it harder)
To Not Go:
  1. It was most likely going to fail
  2. I had no solo, so it wasn't like it would change without me
  3. I didn't want to mess up
  4. I would have to get black (shoes, shirt and pants) by tomorrow
 Those were my reasons. Back and fourth I went, decided, to undecided. I didn't know what to do, but I knew one thing: I needed to talk to someone. (My mom told me she got a headache so she didn't care what I did, as long as I made up my mind.) But the thing was, I wanted her to be happy about it. Not once did she ever say, ''Cant wait to go see Aislinn perform!" or "It sounds like fun!" And that made it worse because I wanted her to say those things and be happy about it. Later, when my Dad came home, I told him about The Variety Show, and what I was thinking. He said to me that whatever I want to do, people will support. He also said that Mom had previously told him that she was excited.
 After talking with Dad for a bit, I then spoke to God. And God listened.

17 Days 'till Christmas . . .

 Since my last post was published late, I will be working to get this post done before tomorrow! (:

 Today was a Brains'n'Brawn day. Which is a competition every 8'th grade team does during homeroom (just on different weeks). Since I am in language for 6'th period, I go to that class to compete against other classes on my team. While waiting for the Brain's portion to start, my two friends, J and B, were telling me how they were gonna get me to compete this month, since they have for the past few months. I did not want to, and was not fixing on starting. Thankfully, my teacher grabbed 2 kids for the brains, and I was not one of them. The Brawn portion, however, was a different story. See, the teacher came by because she heard my friends shouting out how I ''wanted'' to compete for the Brawn. Pointing at us, one by one, my teacher told us how we all were going to compete. The three of us stood up, and when she turned her back, the two girls ran back to their seats. Chickens. So I, along with a few others from my class, had to shoot basketballs from the free throw line to try and beat the class we were going against. The first time I was up, I missed. The 2'nd time, I got a basket! It was so cool, because I scored the first basket! I guess it was the boost people needed, because from then on, we scored 4 more baskets! Unfortunatly, we lost by one point. But, in the end, my class won for the month! :D
 Drama was another practice day. Today, we practiced on stage for the big Variety Show tomorrow night! (Judges are coming in tomorrow, and will tell us what 5 groups will be going to a special drama group! I heard this is a really fun group, so I hope all goes well!
 After practice was health class, and from there science!!
 Science was ok, today we had to take a test. Since she didn't let us use our notebooks, I was nervous, because I didn't know how I would do. In the end, we swapped papers with our partners and gradeds our papers! I missed 6 out of 30 questions! I ended up getting an 82, the highest grade in the class! When I told my teacher, she said, ''Yessssss!" And did an arm-in-fist-pulling-to-stomach move. I really dont know how to decribe it, but you would know it if you saw it.
 Math class was like always; crappy. A lot of people were talking, and the teacher did what she usually does now, write point slips. Repeatidly.
 Language arts was another book-reading day. And a copy-vocab from board day.
 Socail studies was alright. I watched a video of the Declaration of Independence and laughed a lot at the celebrities and how younger they looked.
 And that was my day! I hope tomorrow goes well, and that we make it!

25 Days Of Christmas . . .

 Well, make that 18 days of Christmas.

 So, today was an alright day. In the morning, I went to my locker and then to my homeroom. Since I recently finished the Pretty Little Liars books (I am on book 4) and just so happened to notice my teacher had the fourth book, I asked if I could borrow it. She said yes. Once I put the book on my desk, I began to help my friend, J, put up the tree for the class. In the end, it turned out pretty good. (:
 Also, today was club day. So for most of homeroom I went to the scrapbook club. It was fun, and the Christmas paper was amazing! Once that ended, I went to drama class to rehearse the song Coffee Break.
 During drama we rehearsed and rehearsed over and over repeadidly! I realize now, that I have a certain problem. I am not loud enough. I think it better to know this now, then later. Considering on Friday I will have a performence! But, I dont want to be the over-the-top crazy loud person, but I dont want to be that mice-are-louder-then-you person, either! So, for the rest of the day I tried to be louder.
 Health class. Eh, lets skip that.
 Science was a lab, and it was an OK one, but at least I dont have homework!
 Math was ridiculous. Since a few people were talking, the teacher gave us a pop quiz! (News-flash: In case you didnt know, my old math teacher got promoted. So, we got a new one!) Then we went to lunch. After, we went to the bathroom. There, I quickly texted my mom, wondering if I would need to take the test. Her answer was yes.

 Back in math class, the teacher(who must've had a change of heart?) decided instead of giving us the test, she gave us the teast answers! So, I quickly completed the test, and was saved by the bell!
 In language arts, we read a new book, and then continued to write vocabulary.

 Social studies was alright. We made ornaments (well, began too...) and read more about the Revolutionary War (and how Georgia was ''affected''). It was ok, but I seem to be losing focus on this topic. And I like learning history, but maybe it is because I am in the back of the class...

 After all this, I still had time for drama practice. Which, was until 5. So far 2 hours, all you heard was a big jumble of songs and talent! Coffee Break was OK, since nobody could really catch on to a character, we were told who we would be. Many girls said, ''I want to be the one from Jersey Shore!" (Please, I dont watch that show, but that would NOT end well...) At one point, I said to B, ''Dont you think that there shold be that one character that doesnt get why everyone is freaking out?" B (who is in charge) said, "We already have one, J. Wait- J, you have a solo. How about you be the confused person? Aislinn, yeah! You can be the confused person!" I smiled and walked away, to share about my double life. While performing, (it just so happened that everyone was talking at this point, and not rehearsing) I went up to B and asked, "Do you think I should jump up like, No coffee!!! Or, no coffee..." Her reply was, ''Ooh! The second one, that would be great!" So, jumping back in line, we quickly began to rehearse. Then, about 10-15 minutes later, the teacher told us she was getting a friend of hers to come to see what we have done so far for our song. When her friend arrived, she seemed to be very snotty and obnoxious. She told us that we needed work. Then told us to start with the end of the song, and work our way to the begining. So, for the end our plan is to do this HUGE trust fall, but instead of catching the people, we fall on the people behind us, and so on. At first, it seems like it would hurt, but in the end it is a lot of fun! (Unless you are in the back of the line or dont have a big support group behind you!) In the end, I hope it looks cool!

Tonight, We Are Young . . .

 So lets set the world on fire, and we can burn brighter then the sun. -Glee

 Whew. Has it been a couple of days since I last blogged? Well, let me catch you up!

 Alright, since I left off on the writing test (Gosh, that long ago?) I'm going to be honest, I can only remember these things:
December 1: Usually, I go to bed at 10:00, because that is my bedtime, but for some reason I was so late waking up (my bus comes at 6:51 and I woke up at 6:40!!) that all I could do was run around, literally, the house sreaming ''Ahhh!" My brother, Aidan, had already left without me and thankfully my mom could drive me to the bus stop!
December 2: After yesterday's morning mishap, my bedtime was changed back to 9:30. This is OK, but usually around 9:30 I begin to blog so I will be trying to make this new, but old, change work again. However, today I woke up a lot earlier and was able to leave at my regular time.
December 3-4: On the 3'rd I spent some of my day with my friend, C , and the rest of the day hanging out around the house. Also, this was the same day my mom got to go scrapbooking with her friends, which I know she loves! The next day, I woke up while people went to Sunday School (I am not in 8'th grade sunday school) and watched tv episodes on the tv.
Finally, caught up !
December 5'th: Yesterday was my orthodontist appointment, and I got my new retainer! It hurts my teeth, and I am not used to it at all. In fact, all of today it gave me a temp-lisp.
December 6: Well, a lot happened today. My teeth still hurt (Thanks for asking!) and today in drama a lot of changes happened! Well, after my 1,000 word essay I turned in for drama, the teacher always looks at me when she talks. And I DONT KNOW WHY! Anyway, for some reason a lot of kids haven't been here and for that reason changes in Coffee Break keep happening. As of today, a girl names B, changed a lot of choreography (and the choreographer wasn't even here today!) and added more lyrics.
Alright, well I must go but I will tell more soon!

The Writing Test . . .

 Alright, well since the only interesting thing that happened was the writing test, that is all I will talk about.

 At 8:10 today, the bell for homeroom rang. Then came an announcement;

Cchhtt "Teachers and students, please pardon the interuption. Teachers, it is now time for your students to transition to their 4'th period class. Eighth graders please go to your fourth period, seventh graders please go to your second period. Thank you."

 And that was our cue to go to fourth period. {Which just so happened to be science!} I grabbed my belongings and walked into science class. Sat down, and waited. In the begining of class, J {this kid who was talking a lot} got moved to sit next to me. He is right handed, whereas I am left. Which made the entire test extremely difficult.
 Anyway, my promt {this was not the real test, just a practice one} was about role models. I had to write an expository essay to a younger person explaining them. I had 90 minutes to do everything. When I started my brainstorming, I finished pretty quick. So quick, that on the back of the sheet, I began my rough draft! Realizing that we, in fact, could start our rough draft {by now I was 2.5 paragraphs in} I quickly grabbed my next paper and began to write. When I finished that, I grabbed my white paper {final copy paper} and began quickly doing my letters. Unfortunatly, the entire time I ended up messing up. But, only on one word! That was good.
 When the test was over, J moved back to his seat and I could stretch both my arm and legs. {Speaking of leg, I must have slept on it wrong, because it kinda hurts to walk. The pain is coming from under my knee...}

 The rest of the day was pretty boring. Except fit club. That has a story!

 Today in fit club, S and I were going to be staying for fit club, and it turns out that one of my friends {E} was also staying! I was excited, but bummed because I forgot my shoes and instead wore boots! Luckily the coach had an extra pair, but they were, like, 3 sizes too small! I dealt, but my toes were literally curled over. Ouch. And now, I have blisters and cuts on my feet!
 Part of the fit club is running around the school. One part of the school is where youu half to run down this long hill next to the field where the football team {my mom hates when I say footballers. She remindes me that it isn't correct.} practices. Well, S, E and I were all walking and decided to jog past the football team, right? So we go bolting down this hill and all we here is ''Woo! Woo! Run faster! Faster! Go E! Go S! WHOO!" {I didn't hear my name being called at all, which kinda stunk.} It turns out that the team was right at the edge of the field, and close to where we were running. Luckily, we stopped and the voices faded as we walked. All we could say was ''Woah." Strangely enough, that team took a lot of breaks as we ran by, they were always right there, or close by. Later on, I even had one of the guys tell me, "Did you hear me yelling at you guys to run?" It was crazy!

That was it, but I hope you enjoyed what little there was ! :) Trust me, more will come soon!

Earlier This Was A Cool Title.... Then I forgot it.

 Tomorrow I have to take the prep writing test for 8'th grade. {The test isn't even until next year!} So that means I have to get a good sleep and eat a good breakfast tomorrow.
But since I am in a rush, I will have to speed up things.

 Speaking of breakfast, earlier today my brother came in my room and said, ''It's 6:35." and walked away. For some reason, my brain didn't comprehend that is was 6:35 until I saw the clock. Oh, crap! I thought, and I threw my covers off, grabbed my clothes and glasses and ran to the bathroom. Now, I know it sounds silly but I didn't want to wear my glasses to school, so I put on my contacts first. I mean, I don't want to look weird at school! {I haven't worn my glasses at all to school, so nobody really knows what I look like with glasses except the people from my classes last year.} Then I only had 0 minutes to get ready, so I asked my brother to see if my dad could drive us to the bus stop. Thankfully, he did! Which gave me and extra 5 minutes.
 Once at school, I went to my locker, and back to class. {After walking around a bit with my friends.} And when I went back to class, K {girl who sits next to me in homeroom} read my essay for drama and said, ''Your talking about J aren't you?" And I was confused, so I asked what and she said, ''J made the Captain Louie play and she didn't try out. She was talking about it." Then she looked around, making sure that B wasn't in homeroom yet. {J and B are friends in drama class.} I was shocked. Make that 3 people who didn't try out for the play, yet made it! Another thing that happened in homeroom was this:

Teach: ''Ok, class. I have some exciting news!"
Kim: "Are we taking a field trip?"
Teach: "Kim! You just interrupted me! I have something important and you interrupted me! Apologize, please!"
Kim: "I, uh, am sorry that I interrupted you for something I was excited about."
Teach: "Ok, I am signing us up for a social network!"

 The funny thing was, she was so excited about this. We, completely shocked, could only laugh. So we laughed, and laughed. Finally she said,
"This is revolutionary! I'm only doing this with this class!"
{Add more laughing.}
 In drama I quickly walked in to find that the teacher sent around a girl, S, to pick up our essays. I handed her my 1,000 word essay {more like little under 100!} and all S did was look at it. Then move on. {LOL!!} Then the teacher sent another girl around, A, to go get the Crucible essays. I gave A mine and she walked off. Later on, I was with L and M, {the 3 of us are getting everyones costumes} and we were talking about costumes, when the teacher kept yelling for everybody to be quiet. {Since a lot of the same people from yesterday were talking!} Then she compared the class to a dog, and threatened to give us another 500 words. {Then she added that she could make it a regular thing!} Ha. Not likely. I should show you guys my essay, I bet you would laugh (;
Health class was bor-ing. I will sum it up: I took a test and was one of the only 2 people to spell pneumonia right.
 Science was ok also, I did some coloring about molecules. And, of all things, the teacher moved K to sit in front of me. Now it is me, A and K {these are all just their first initial..}
 Math was hard. I had to take a test and I didn't know the answers to 2 questions. {That makes me sound like a nerd. But there was 9 questions on the test, so it made it hard!} Also, one kid opened the window in the back of the class and a bunch of kids were looking outside! Then, one kid threw his notebook outside! When the kid was about to climb out to get it, the sub caught him! Oh, he was lucky it wasn't our normal teacher!
 Langauge Arts. Oh, language arts. My teacher always gives my class life lessons. But, since I have to take a mock-writing test tomorrow, she mainly explained all about that. The test starts at 8:15 and ends at 10. Uggh. And, to make things a bit worse, it is in 4'th period. Which is always cold. And, its science. Nothing wrong with the teacher, its just...Science.
 Social studies was cool! We had an activity with M'n'M's and I, unfortunatly ended up getting only 1.

Sorry for some crappy explinations of my day, but I need to get some rest!

I Must Be Crazy . . . But . . .

 I sware, I must have had more homework then a college student tonight.

 On my previous post, I made school sound... Easier then usual. But this is how my day went:
 In homeroom the class read for 10 minutes. That part was OK because I am reading Pretty Little Liars book 3 and cannot wait for the TV show to come back! Then the class helpers passed out the Walk Two Moons books and we read a few chapters in that, too! {Which was super boring!} Afterword the school bell rang which issued us to 2'nd period.
 In drama my teacher told us to finish our essays for the movie ''The Crucible" which was basicly a movie about the Salem Witch Trails. For my essay I had to write a review over the entire movie. And apparently 5 paragraphs was enough to fit the bill. While in the middle of typing mine {I couldn't think of anything on paper, so I got my inspiration while typing!} some students decided it would be wise to talk. {Now, I am all for talking. And I admit I was talking! But when a teacher tells me to stop, I stop.} The teacher then said no talking. Talking continued. Once again, she said no talking. Finally I guess she had enough because she then said,
 "Alright! 500 word essay all of you and it will be due tomorrow."
{Insert moans}
 "Wanna keep talking? Make it 1,000! Due tomorrow!" She practicly hissed. {Ok, she didnt hiss, just emphasized the word tomorrow}
 Then, because some IDIOT didn't get the hint, she loudly said, ''C! Do you want to up it to 1,500 for the whole class? Then they can blame YOU!" He said no, but boy, if he said yes. He would have gotton so many dirty looks, his head would have shrank so far back that people would have started calling him Turtle. Thankfully, class was dismissed by the bell. But, according to school rules, the teacher dismisses you. Not the bell. ''I didn't dismiss any of you. Sit back down." As she said this, most students sat back down. However, her class pets walked right up and over to the door. Man, those people make me mad. "Due tomorrow. Dismissed.'' Was all she said.
 Health is probably my least-favorite and most-boring class ever. I mean, I don't think there is a way to make health fun. It's probably a proven fact. But, since I have no life {JUST KIDDING!} I will try to explain in full detail what happened. Every day I come in, sit down and start my warm up. Warm up consists of an Essential Question and a vocab word or two. Once done with the warm up and vocab, we start notes. Every. Day. Literally, every day for the past 9 weeks we have taken notes! *Cough! Cough! Paper waster! Cough!* And since we also had a project, we tryed to finish them up today, too! Thankfully the group I am in did their part and didn't have me do all the work!
 Science class was a review day. I had to turn in those *dreaded* projects. {All 6 of them} and finish my Periodic Table of elements notes. Once done with that, I sat and talked to a girl at my table, A, who made me laugh so hard I almost cried.
 Math is definatly a change, since my teacher will be leaving the 1'st.The new one who will be taking over had actually come in today and didn't talk much. But I have a feeling she will be a mean one. She just has that ora. And, as if the science projects weren't bad enough, tomorrow I have a math test! But I have gotton zero prep time in, so.. Like I always say, "I dont study, I pass." Ha :)
 Language arts was an alright day. My teacher always gives us life-lessons {for some reason} and today that lesson was about a swan song. Which is a beautiful song a swan sings when it is about to die. Also, for some reason the guy behind me {who looks like the pokemon-card-battler-yet-still-fits-in-time-for-math- kind of guy. Basicly the guy is kind of a nerd. And I hate saying that because I know people probably call me that, but he just looks it} starts singing ''I'm Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO . He can be weird.
 Social Studies was hilarious. We learned about the Revolutionary War and A {same girl from science, we have ever class together. She sits by me in science and social studies} and I were cracking up at guerilla warfare. This was how it went:
A: I didnt know guerilla was spelt like that! I thought it has an O!
{insert my laughter}
random kid in class: It does have an O, but that was how they talked back then!"
{insert me laughing so hard and my teacher just gazing at the sky}

Yep, so that was it!

Set My Alarm Clock..

 Well, after 7 days off from school, it is safe to say I am looking forward to school. I mean dont get me wrong, I dont like school! However, after sitting around home and being out of school for 7 days, well... It's nice that I get to go see my friends and (unfortunatly) wake up early so I can see them. :)

 Now that Thanksgiving Break is officially over, people can (officially) start the holiday music and focusing on, what else? Christmas Break! Last year I got 3 weeks off of school for Christmas break. This year, I dont know how many weeks! About the music, see right after Halloween this one radio station played nothing but Christmas music! And only stopped it for a football game!! I mean, how retarded is that? I put the radio on for music not, ''And there goes so-and-so tackling so-and-so...OH! Touchdown! Wait, no it was a foul. " Sigh. Oh well. On a holiday note, 29 days till Christmas! If you cant tell, I am excited!!
 So, on a school note, guess what? I am gonna dish it all out so get ready...

 Homeroom. Ugg probably one of my least favorite classes. I have one of the laziest classes and a book that is so hard to follow along with. It is called Walk Two Moons. And you know what is funny? The **slow, and by slow I dont mean challenged I just mean the populars who fake blonde-ness** kids follow along but they couldn't when reading a 5'th grade book?
 Drama and Health. Drama is getting boring and boring by the day. I cant stand all this favoritism! I like the class, but it's getting to be a popularity thing and I cant, no, wont compete with some of them. Health? It's health, not really a fun class.
 Science is, well, science. Not only do I have 3 projects due tomorrow but since the teacher gave me extra-credit, I now have 6 due tomorrow. (She said the 3 extra could be brought in any day but I will bring them in tomorrow)
 Math is alright, but over the break I have most likely forgotten a lot. :)
 Language Arts is by far the easiest. But, thanks to the tornado, I will have to make up (along with everyone else) a writing pre-test for the big writing test at the end of the year. I think..
 Now, dont get me wrong, GA Studies is great.. But with the 7 days off... Well, I have a blank in my mind right now.

So, that's it! Have a GREAT day and, thank you for reading :)
{It sounds so formal!(: }

I Cant Think of A Title ...

 Today was an OK day.

 I woke up early today, and my teeth were chattering. I literally woke up with my teeth chattering! And not because I was sleeping on top of the covers, but because of how cold it was! I was under my somewhat-thick covers and sleepily grabbed my fleece (Is it fleece? I don't know..) blanket and threw it over me. Then fell back to sleep.
 Soon after that I woke up again because I wanted to go with my mom when if she went to drive my dad to work! I shouted my brothers name a couple times, but I guess he didn't hear me. I waited for my dad to go into the kitchen before I shouted his name. (Keep in mind I was still in my bed) I said ''Dad!" and waited. When he replied, I asked if I my mom would be driving him. The answer was no. After a few minutes he came to both my brother's room, and mine, and told us that he was going to work. So what did I do after that? Go back to sleep.
 Waking up after that I lazily dragged myself out of bed and grabbed my glasses. (I wear contacts during the day and at night I put on glasses) I then went to the bathroom to put in my contacts and clean my retainer. Speaking of retainer, do you know how hard it is to clean them? It isn't. It is instead the whole- no eat thing and no drink thing. (I cant eat food with it in and I cant drink anything with it in, either. Water is fine, but anything with sugar can give me cavities.) And the breath? Ew! I cant stand not brushing my teeth after I clean my retainer, it is just gross! By this time I had gone to the bathroom and walked into my mom's room. I felt how cold the room was and decided to go eat instead. (Which makes zero sense since I just cleaned my retainer and brushed my teeth!) Afterword I went to my mom's room and sat down on her bed. I pulled a blanket over me and sat. But, it wasn't very cold anymore since I piled on my HARVARD sweatshirt (I got it when in Boston over the summer. I LOVED it there!) and elf socks. The funny thing was, I didn't feel like changing into pants, I was still in my sleeping shorts! I sat with my mom for about 1-2 hours and then, now at 11:00 got up and out.
 But, like I said earlier today wasn't one of those rush-out-the-door days. Since I put so much detail into the first half of the day, let me sum up the next-half..
 At lunch time the stupid Mario theme song was stuck in my head (and is now!) because my brother, Declan, continually plays that ridiculous Wii game! He says he is trying to unlock a new ghost racer, but in doing so, the TV is being hogged.
 Then, at lunch I decided I would eat left-over pizza. I had claimed one plate which consisted of 3 good-sized slices. I leave and when I come back, BAM!, guess what happened? Aidan ate my pizza! This is the second time he has eaten my lunch, second! First it was my taquitos, now my pizza!?! C'mon! So, I yelled at him about how he should have not eaten them and was then told, ''Well they didn't have your name on them!" But, I have heard this one before so I responded with, "Well, they didn't have yours on them, either!" And that was that.
 Another thing that happend was Spy's. It is a game me and my sister, Maeve, play. But since Aidan found out, he has been a spy, too! Today the 3 of us came up with signals, ''handshake'', calls, and a plan of action. Our target? Declan. There was only one flaw, my mom was at the computer, so how could we capture the enemy? By going through with our plan, of course! So, we stealthily (more like loudly) go out to the living room and attack. Aidan, then me, and finally Maeve. Declan, just shouted, ''Get outa my way, I am playing here!" Which resulted in mom telling us to leave him alone. But, that didnt stop us! So we, for the second time, casually sit next to him and bug him. (This was our different plan.)
 And really? That was my day. Goofin' off, hanging out, and...Oh yeah! Making two music videos, which resulted in us running inside because of the yellow jackets. Urg.

Spread the Gobble !

 Thanksgiving today was a BIG success! So much happened and I will be glad to tell you it all!

 My first words of the day were ''Uggggh.'' Literally! I was woken up at 7:30 (ish) and not because of my alarm, but because of my mom! You see, today was the day my mom, brother and I would go to help the homeless! Every year we go down to a church near us and serve food to those homeless in the area! We have done this for the past 3 years, and each year I look forward to this even more! Usually my Nana and Papa come help us, but this year we wanted a quiet holiday with just my family instead of having company!
 While serving food, I saw my old 3'rd grade teacher, and one of my friends. Brittany! I laughed so hard when I saw her, because I hadn't seen her since school! (Which was a week ago!) This year was even more packed then usual, and thankfully this place doesnt turn down volunteers, because if they did we might have been told to leave! We had to stop serving around 11:30, because the kitchen ran out of ham and turkey! But, thankfully we couldn't turn anybody down because there was still vegies, potatos, and cranberries, pineapples, stuffing, pie, and bagels! Afterword we cleaned up and got ready to leave. My mom, brother, and I then said goodbye to my past teacher and left.
 Quickly we went over to my mom's friends home to pick up our turkey. (Which had been frying while we were serving.) We socialized for about 20 minutes and then left.
When we arrived home we quickly cooked our food and dug in around 3:00! When my dad was cutting the turkey, guess what we found? It turned out the people who fried our turkey only took out one bag! (I dont know what was in the bag so..) And they left the 2'nd one in! So we took it out and continued cutting, but making sure that there wasnt a third bag of unknown stuff! At 3:30, I was stuffed! I had so much food! But, I saved room for the cake, which was delicious!
 I am thankful for so much right now!

Have a great day, and a very happy Thanksgiving!

Pre Turkey Stress ...

 For those of you readers who live in forgein countries, that don't know what ''Turkey Day'' is, listen up!
 Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! And my family has a lot of cooking to do! We are going to be frying a turkey this year, add stuffing, cranberry sauce, veggies, sweet potato souffle; and cake, and you have a meal fit for a king! (Or in our case, a king a queen, two princesses and 2 princes!) Usually we have a regular turkey, but my mom really likes fried turkeys, so this year we will have a fried turkey! Cranberry sauce is so good , and we really only have it on this day! Stuffing is also a favorite, and so is the souffle. Veggies aren't new, but we still enjoy them. Cake is for dessert, and it is a scrumptious butterscotch cake, drizzled with a delectible topping/frosting. (Mmmm..) And that concludes our meal :)
 Tomorrow I also have to wake up early so I can go with my mom and brother to the soup kitchen to volunteer. We do this every year, and I have a lot of fun doing this!
 Other then that nothing else will be going on tomorrow!

 But what is a Thanksgiving without saying what you are thankful for?

I am thankful for my family, food, clothes, a roof over my head, healthy-ness, friends, a good education, and most of all : God.

Have A Happy Thanksgiving Tomorrow!

 Ok, this blog post will be a sorry excuse for one, since I dont have a lot to say!

Ok, so in all honesty I dont have a lot to say about the past few days, so...

Tornado WARNING!

 Yesterday, Georgia got a big wake up call.

 In 6'th period, which is Language Arts, the announcer from the main office buzzed throughout the school.

 Cchhtt ''Attention teachers and students. Attention teachers and students, this is a brief announcement. Right now we are currently on a tornado warning. Teachers, please do not let your students leave the classroom. Thank you.''

 Instantly the class is buzzing with ''Tornado warning?' and 'Oh my gosh, were gonna die.' I look around. To my left is Brittany, who turns and faces me.

''Did you hear that?'' She askes me
''Yeah.'' I reply
''That was a tornado warning!''
''So?" Was all I could say (I get the two tornado signs mixed up)
''That means it is coming right to us!" She says, and turns away.
I shake my head, and look to the right, where Jaqcueline sits.
''So, Brittany just said the tornado is coming right at us.''
''No it isnt. A watch just means that one is spotted nearby.'' Replys Jaqcueline
''Oh, ok.'' I say.

 I turn forward again and wait. My teacher then gets up to the front of the class and starts to tell us the difference between a watch and a warning. As she speaks, we quietly listen. Noticing the pitter patter of rain begining to turn into thuds. She tells us to open our books and to begin to read aloud. While one kid reads, the lights flicker. Then turn off completely. Surprisingly, no screams came from my classroom. Instantly the lights flick back on, and the announcement comes on once again.

Cchhtt '' Attention teachers and students. Attention teachers and students, this is a brief announcement. Teachers, we are now in a tornado warning, please go to your safety zones immediatly. Thank you.''

 Instantly everybody jumps up, grabbing nothing. I, noticing one girl holding a purse, reaches down and grabs mine. (I'm not leaving my phone!) I also lean over and grab the thickest book ever and hold on to it. (It was one of those humongous literature books used for school) We go out into the hall, and the teachers around us are all saying the same thing,
''Get down, now!''
 We each get down onto the floor in that uncomfortable postition (the one where we have our backs to the sky and our knees to our face. Not to mention our head against the wall and a book on our head!) To my left is Jacqueline, Brittany and Trevon. Trevon then looks at the 3 of us (Jacqueline, Brittany, and me) and says, ''See you in Heaven!" To my right is a girl named Karmen. Next to Karmen is a girl from my 6'th grade class, Hannah. She was crying, for like, 10 minutes straight. The hall soon got quiet, very quiet. And over the speaker comes announcements like,

''Teachers, if you have not been assigned a class, please get in a safety zone!"

 One thing that was sad was this one kid, his name is Dillon, (Dillon is special needs) his mom came up to the school with his little sister and they had to wait with us for 3 hours! His little sister was ok, but I heard that she was crying at one point.
 For 3 hours we sat. Then, little by little, the teachers began to let us sit up. Finally we were all facing the people in front of us and waiting. Then, one announcement said,

''We need so-and-so, they're leaving.''

This caused some confusion. Our parents could get us? We could leave? As soon as the announcement was issued for that kid to leave, more and more were leaving. Soon, a good chunk of my hall was gone.

''Teachers, you are now all aloud to go back into your classrooms. Thank you for your cooperation.''

 When we went back into our classrooms, we waited. This whole time I had been texting my Dad, and my battery went from 50% to 10% in less then 30 minutes. Then, my phone died. All my communication back home, dead. Great, I thought. Finally, at 5:00 PM(!!!) The buses are ready to take us home. As I am walk to my bus, I dont know what to expect. So many people left, that for all I know, I could be alone! But we had to go to the high school first. So, I get on and there is about 12 middle schoolers. (Probably less!) On the bus. Thankfully, one of my friends Alexis is on, and Panashe gets on after me. Going to the high school was fun. We were looking all around for signs of the tornado. And the tornado was literally right up the street. Tree's were snapped in half, roof's torn off homes and buildings. Leaves and branches floated around, and right in front of the high school were 2 trees twisted in the power lines. The bottom of some trailer-classrooms were torn, revealing a not-so-attractive hole. The roof of the gym was ripped off, showing twisted metal bars and yellow insulation everywhere. The football field and baseball field were gone. The fences were mangled and 96% of cars were a mess. Peices of tire, window, and basic car were everywhere. I even heard that one of the halls inside the school was gone. Because of all this mess, the high school, my school, and every other school in my county are off. So now I can rest, but thankfull that nobody got hurt. Be thankful for what you have, because one day you might not have anything.

Why is Drama Class So Absurd?

 Yesterday were play auditions. For a play called Captain Louey. I really wanted to be in the play, so I went and auditioned. It was a lot of fun, and I couldn't wait for the call back list to be posted. My drama teacher said to us that she wouldnt be picking who would stay, but the 3 helpers (singing, dancing, and acting coaches) would pick who and her and the other school's drama teacher would put in their input. My teacher also told us it would be posted last night, but since we are doing this show with another school, it could take a couple hours. So I checked, and checked. And checked some more. But the list had yet to be posted online.
 Today on my way to school, I decided to check online to see if it was posted! It was! So as I skim through the names, I see the name Abbey and my last name! It was strange, but since all the teachers yesterday who helped with auditions got my name wrong, I figured it was a typo. At school I am very confident. I made the call backs, which meant all the plays I have tried out for, I have made! Well, in Drama class, my teacher told us that even though we are on the call back list we are in the play, but the call backs would be for a bigger part. If you didnt get a big part, you would be ensemble. On the list it said I had to learn 2 songs for tomorrows call back audition. Which would be OK. After class, I go up to my teacher and say,
''Do you mind burning me a CD of the songs I need to learn?"
Her response was, ''Sure! Come back later and I will give it to you."
So during lunch I go to her and, unfortunatly, she didn't have my CD yet. After that I decided to wait until 7'th period to go again.
 In 7'th period I run up and ask my teacher if I can go to the Drama room. She said 'Yes, but you need to hurry!' So I went.
 Finally when I arrive, I knock on the door. The teacher ushers me over and says this:
Her: "Um, I dont see you name on the list.."
Me: "Uh, I saw the name Abbey (my last name) and figured it was typo?"
Her: "Oh, no. I think that is a student from the other school.''
Me: ''Ok."
Then she said something about shuffling papers and how she must have not seen mine. (Or something like that.) I said OK and smiled. Then I left. When I left, my eye was starting to tear up. I really wanted this. And, once again, the favorites got the part. Go figure. I wanted this. And didn't get it. And once I got to thinking, I realized; How many people live in the same place as me with the same last name and just so happen to be on the play call back list? That's right. None. And if that name was mine, tomorrow I would be crazily unprepared. It's just so unfair. How am I supposed to get better if she keeps putting in the same people!?
Anyway,

God Bless

My Braces Are OFF!

 I will admit, I was so nervous. I was scared that getting braces off would hurt. Of course, I was scared to get them on (I heard they did..) but they didnt. But at 9:10 AM I should have expected what would happen..

 I am sitting in a chair. Nothing special about it, it is one of those movable chairs. I am waiting for the Dr. to come in. While I am waiting, one of his assistants, who is super nice, comes and began to tell me what would happen.
''He is going to use this to apply preasure to the bracket and then they will pop right off! It wont hurt, either!"
I nodded. Even though I was thinking about the pain I would be in. Then the doctor came is and said he would look at my teeth. So I opened my mouth and POP, POP, POP! my braces were being poped off! I jumped a few times, but I think it was because I didnt want it to clip me. After, he pulled out my braces! It came off quick, and then the tops came off! After that, he told me to brush. When I came back, he told me he was going to polish the glue off. My jaw got tired of being open, but I lived :) After that, I went in for an X-Ray and more molds for my retainer. (I am getting 3) The Dr. then filed down some ridges in my teeth and glued in my permanent retainer on my bottom teeth. Right now, it is in and it feels weird!! Lastly I signed his wall! After his patients get their braces off, you sign his wall with whatever you half to say!! Once I left, I went straight to the car and held up my Peeps from Easter! I ate half of one before my Mom told me to stop since I was going to see my Dad at his work. When we arrived at my Dad's work, we talked for a bit and I showed him my mouth. It feels so different! On the 30 min drive to school, I ate 12 Peeps.
After school, I went back to the orthodontist to get my other retainer, this one is clear and feels different! Next month I will get my other retainer! Oh boy, :)

I Am So Upset...

 Yesterday were class auditions for the class play in drama. ''Everybody would get a part'' said the teacher. But what she failed to mention was the importance.

 In drama I was excited. I was happy because I was very confident about my performence yesterday and thought I had the role I wanted in the bag. HA! Wrong. One by one parts are gone. And all that's left are soldiers. Soldiers!!! Quickly she rattles off the unlucky kids. The leftover kids. And I was one of them. A leftover. Great, just great! I wanted to be in a lead role but guess who got one? You can guess because I dont feel like typing her name. Also, Julie and Elizabeth werent able to audition yesterday but STILL GOT BIG PARTS. How is that fair?! Julie couldnt even keep up today! And, oh boy, guess what else? After the squealing from Madison and Alivia died down (they repeatedly said, ''I love Creativly Yours!'') I could hear the rest of what my teacher was saying,
"The costumes will be picked out by Lordynn, Aislinn, and Morgan. Which means you will have to meet up and try on clothes that you feel is appropriate for the play and once you guys do that we will meet up for a fitting."
 After reading through my script, I found out one thing, I have no lines. None. 0. No lines at all. The only good thing that came of this was the perk of trying on clothes.
 The rest of the school was bland. Tastless. Boring.

Pope's!

 I am sure I have mentioned it before, Pope's Haunted Farm? Yeah, ok. So I finally went!! Yesterday my friend Stephanie and I were going to go to Pope's. But, before that her mom was going to pick me up early and we were going to go to her dad's military party. (Since it was close to Pope's) The party was cool. We played basketball and chilled. Then, we went to go pick up Stephanies friend Amelia. Amelia and I are friends too, since we had class together last year. So we pick Amelia up and head over to Pope's. Pope's was SO cool! We decided to do the hay-ride and it was scary but cool! I had a great time, even though I screamed often and covered my eye's while burrowing my head into Stephanie's shoulder. We had a great time, and even got tee-shirts! Tomorrow we are wearing them!
 So, tomorrow is Halloween. I might not post but I will tell you why:

 So, tomorrow Stephanie's mom asked if I was trick-or-treating. I said 'No.' She asked what I would be doing and I told her I would be sitting at home. Then, she invited me to come trick-or-treating with them! She talked to my mom and tomorrow I will be going and trick-or-treating with them! It should be fun, and cold! My costume is going to be what I was last year-- A Flapper Girl!

Alright, short post, I know. But I have to go to bed !

Yeah, Yeah, Shakespeare, move over!

 Let me start out with homeroom. (Because today was actually fun!) In homeroom, we have a school-wide contest. If you donate $1.00 then you get a paper pumpkin. The class with the most gets a free catered breakfast (by the principal) and that days' lesson taught by her. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Anyway, earlier this morning my teacher donated $75.00 for the pumpkins! This put us in 2'nd place. But according to this afternoon, we were pushed down to 3'rd. Supposedly, tomorrow quite a few people will be bringing in donations to bring us up to first. Whoop-dee-doo.
~~~~~~
 Drama was bor-ing. My teacher wasn't here, so we read over our scripts for our class-play. This one is called:
Macbeth: A Children's Cautionary Tale
 After reading over the script, it is safe to say I dislike this play. I mean, it is so child-ish!! We have to interact with the audience! One of the things we have to say (if you are a narrator, of course) is:
Narrators: ''Now, what letter is at the end of witches?"
Audience: "Es."
Narrators: "That's right, very good! Your teacher's would be proud!"
 Other then that, not much happened. Oh, but something happened on the bus!
 So, in the morning Olivia sits behind me in the seat with Panache. Panache was texting and I was sitting next to the window.
"Hey, Aislinn." Said Olivia
Now I, assuming this was not her, began to look around the bus.
"Hey, Aislinn." She repeated.
Now I am still confused because Olivia would never talk to me, so this couldn't be her! Right?
"Hey, Aislinn!" She says.
Now I look at her.
"What?" I ask.
"What should I ask for for my birthday?" She asks.
"Um. Well, what do you like?" I say, still confused that she would be talking to me. I wondered if I should tell her about my fundraising, but held it in.
"I don't know, that's the problem!" She said, smiling.
"Oh. Hmm." I say, and leave it at that.
 After her short convo with me, she began to tell me about what she will ask for, which was a pair of Hollister jeans.
''I will only ask for one pair, because there usually 30-45 dollar jeans!"
 Then she began to tell me about her birthday dinner. I don't have an invite. But that's OK. I mean, I wouldn't go even if I got one.
 That was about it!
What Doesnt Kill You...
 Make's you stronger. Blah blah blah. That's what I was told. Or heard. And today...It was applied.
 Drama is by far, my favorite class. I wish it was longer...sometimes. Other times...not so much. But isnt every class like that?
 Today drama was...a 'not so much' day. The rest of the class performed their musical's, and whoever wanted to re-do their song, could go. Some people shouted, ''Coffee...Coffee...!' But, it wasnt our call, it was Bailey's. ''Sure." She said. This was the start of my ''not so much'' class period.
 Some people think it is easy to act. And it can be. *Note: Can be. But, when the teacher is saying, ''Get in character, in character!" It isnt easy. I mean, we are in a single line. Bailey told us to look for coffee. Yet, everybody is doing the same thing, so how do we have character? So, the song ends and we are all thinking (and saying) the same thing: "We stink." We begin to sit, but the teacher told us to stay up front.
"You guys need to have character. You dont have character, it is all boring. Kati," She looks at Kati. By now, we have re-formed our Coffee line. "You need to have character, when you get up front, all eyes will be on you and you cant be boring. You had a boring face during the fall." Kati nods. She continues, ''Aislinn, I didnt see and expression on your face the whole song!" She is looking at me and I, right back. I got nervous, being called out like that, but was saved by Sara, ''I did." She said. I was going to nod my thanks, but out of fear for my teacher, I held my head still. "Go. Again. Because I know you guys dont want the grades I could give you." So, we went again. And this time, I owned it.
 Remember me mentioning how we would be (possibly) performing in front of judges? Today my teacher picked those performing. And the Coffee song got picked!! I am happy, but this means practice, practice, practice. Urgg.
 Lastly, in Drama we got fundraising packets, so now I have to fundraise. Oh joy.
It Can Only Get Better...
 The celebration is over. As sad as it is, I will explain...
~~~~~~
 So, according to this ''Model & Acting Company" they are interested in working with me. That is great and all, especially since I auditioned and got it, but before I go jump in the pool, I need to know more about it. So, my parents told me that before I sign any contract, to look it up. Get reviews, the Buisness Bureau Report, and so on. So, I did my research. It looked OK. (Could have done better) And then came my parents turn. My parents are more researchy, and found more then I did. They found that in the past 12 months, 9-12 complaints have been filed, and quite a few more reviews then me. And since they have yet to call back, the chances are "slim" that I will be working with, or even for, them. When we came back at 7 on Sunday, the co-owner or some model in charge said,
'If we really want to work with you, we will hunt you down.'
 And my parents are really holding on to that, because since she hasnt been calling back, or even trying to get in touch, the chances are slim.
 Yeah, I know it is a crazy dream. I just think that at a chance like this that I should jump right in, you know? But, I did some more research and found some more model company's. This one has a much better rating, and even has an office by us! Hopefully this one is not a scam, because it is sad enough that I cant be a model now. I just hate waiting. Maybe I will get it right this time.

Oh, and if you are reading. The model company who scams. Thanks. A lot. I am glad I didnt pay you, because I dont want scum taking my money. And bringing my hopes up. And making me cry no, ball. Thanks, and continue what you do. But I hope it bites you in the butt. :) Have a nice day!
:) Alright, so onto school.

Drama was really the only part of my day that was good. In drama I had to present my song in front of my teacher. It was a good thing it was a group song, because I would have been terrible alone! So, after we presented, guess what Madison said??
''Well...That was better then I expected."
In reply: "Thanks, Madison!" Said a few people. They meant it.
 To top it off, my teacher said that she doesnt want to be in the position to pick and choose who goes to the Junior Thesbian Conference, so she will have judges come in to decide. From there, we will perform our skits in front of them, and then the best 5 acting and 5 musicals will go to compete. Oh joy. (: To add to the excitement, some of us (I already can list because it will most likely be her favorites) will perform in front of the school! Yay! Not.

Gotta go, watching X-Factor!
