I'm soooo excited, because in 4 days my birthday will be here! I have been reminding my parents everday, just so they don't forget. I don't like having school on my birthday, though. Just ruins it.
Right after my birthday though is fall break, a week later, so I'm even more excited about that!
I'll catch you up on what happens soon!

6th week of school
Gosh I live a boring life.
So, my birthday is coming up!! :)
And I told my parents I only want one thing:
Concert tickets.
And they said that won't happen. Pshh.
So I told them that's all I want, because honestly, that is all I want.
And they still said no.
They told me that if that's all I want then I'm gonna be very disappointed.
But I won't stop asking.
Even if my birthday is in two weeks.
**
This past week I had tennis lessons.
Yes, the one's my mom signed me up for.
She told me that "This was a way to get you out of the house.''
But I told her I like my cave, and I walk to school everyday, therefore I do get out of the house.
Anyway, I went to tennis and had class with about 6 other kids.
My instructor goes to my school...awkward.
But it was fun, for the most part.
I ended up making a few friends, so that's good.
*
I must've caught something at school because the past few days I've been sick. Sore throat, and crackly voice. Ugh. I brought some tea to school and that was good. I drank it all 60 minutes into class, though. The rest of the day my throat was very sore.
Anyway, other than that, school has been OK.
I get Monday off, which is great!!
Love,
Aislinn

Friday
So it turns out that it was the fourth week of school, not the fith!
Since I last updated, not much has happened. But really, it's not like I expected something great to, nothing really stood out this week.
I will say that Chinese is getting easier, because I'm reviewing my work and studying. I have to take an online quiz this weekend, so fingers crossed I do well!
Recently I started to watch the X Factor, since it just premiered the other day! American Idol kind of crashed, to be honest, and America's Got Talent isn't that great...in my opinion. So I'm watching XFactor! It's great so far! :)
Math and Science aren't exciting. So I guess that means I should be doing well. I dont know, I don't really look at my grades, but I do know, unlike a lot of people, I do not have any D's, C's, or F's! Yay!
So yeah, my week in a nutshell.

I'm gonna assume that it's the 5'th week of school.
Because I honestly don't know..
Sorry for the late post, I haven't had time to update, but with my free time now I figured I would :)
Last week, I did fairly well in all my classes. But what's so strange, is that I'm passing, whereas a lot of the kids in my classes, are failing! In Freshman Seminar, my teacher does week grade-checks, and if a student is failing (or has less than a C, since those don't pass at my school) then the two of you make a plan to fix your grades so you pass.
That sounds confusing, trust me. And the first day he did the checks, most of the class was called up! I'll be honest, I kind of wanted my name to be called. Not because I want to fail or anything, but because I wanted to know my grades. Turns out you only saw the class you're failing. Like I said, most of my class is failing. Except for me and a few others.
Later on in the week, my english teacher told us that after grading just a few notebooks, he has come to the conclusion that half of my English class is failing, and half isn't! He said that he noticed about 80% of us aren't passing. Some of us have an 11%. How do you get an 11% in the 5'th week of school?! It's ridiculous.
What's even more so is math class. My teacher is fine, she's nice. However, the kids in my class don't understand anything!! And it's still just review!!! I cannot tell you how many times a day I hear, "I don't get it. I don't understand." Come from the girls behind me.
I figured that Georgia, not being the highest when it comes to education, that I might be behind, but according to my classes, I'm ahead! I'm not upset, rather be ahead than behind, but it's annoying.
Chinese is hard!! I didn't expect it to be easy, but I don't understand it. At all.
Drawing + Theater is fine, not much happening.
Anyways.
So last week I was at lunch, getting my usual. (Subway footlong tuna on white..like you cared) and I am in this long line to buy my food, right? So I get up to the register and type in my code, while I wait for the woman to let me leave. Basically, this is what happened.
So the lunch lady asked me if this kid on her screen was me (my lunch I.D doesn't have a photo, and they really don't know my name) I nodded, and she asked me if I have any money. "In my account." I said, and she was like, "You don't have enough to buy that." So I said, "How much is it?" Because I don't eat an entire footlong, I eat 6 inches and bring the rest the next day! So she said, "It's 5 dollars. You have 1.25, enough for the water." I started to ask her if I could leave it there, when this guy next to me goes, "I'll buy her lunch." We both turned, and the guy was smiling, and was like, "I have money, so I'll buy her lunch." The woman told me to wait there and filled out some more orders, and when it was the boys turn he said, "Here's 5 for her lunch, and 5 for mine." The woman put both our orders in AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO TELL ME "He did you a nice thing." UM, DUH. So I said thanks to the boy again, and he was like, "No problem!" And walked off. I have no clue who he was, or what grade he's in.
