WiFi is back!

(Insert chorus of hallelujahs)

Until the day comes where you are without wifi of any kind, and I am the ony one with it, will you know just how much pain and loneliness I have felt this past week.
So, now that I'm back I have a lot to say! But I figured I should sum it up, since you would probably get bored with the long version.
Basically it took my family four days to get to Colorado. And, go figure, we arive on the hottest day of the year. We spent the night in the same hotel I previously had stayed in, and everything was fine until we moved into the new house.
Literally, we had nothing unpacked. And once the people who were helping unpack showed up, I tried to stay out of everyone's way. (Not for their sake, for mine. I didn't want to lift the boxes and what-not) Until my parents caught me in my room and forced me to vaccum. Then help with boxes. *Sigh* So, unfortunatly, I helped.
Strangely enough, one of our neighbors came outside to say hi! Now, I say this is strange because back in Georgia, my mom had to literally go door-to-door to introduce herself. But here, I've learned that the people are super nice and welcoming!
So, now that you are all caught up, I will just tell you what's been happening.
All of my siblings, even the dog, have friends in the neighborhood, except me. However, (this is really weird) I was told there is a girl who lives behind us who is my age, and has the same name as me. How does that happen!?! Anyway, in the meantime I will keep you posted and up to date!
Speaking of which, the Colorado wildfires are getting worse. So worse that they are begining to evacuate people from their homes. Thankfully, they arent by us and hopefully they will continue to stay that way!

Moving, Ed Sheeran, and One Direction

Currently, I am sitting in my room with my dog, who seems to be going ballistic at the fact that there are the future residents walking around the house. So, while I try to calm her down, I decided to play music. She barked throughout the first half dozen One Direction songs, but has gotten quiet once I put on Ed Sheeran..
The moving date is fast approaching, which means that the next time I blog, I will no longer be a resident of Georgia! Which, no saying that out loud, seems like a big deal. I mean, for the past 11 years I have lived in the "peach state" and now I am moving to the other side of the country, in the mile high city! I guess this is life.
I am starting to get back into the habit of the two hour time change, but tomorrow, I will be (once again) in another time zone! This is crazy, but it's for the better. My dad likes his new job, and to be honest, any state is better than Georgia. It's only a plus that were moving to such a pretty state, Colorado.
I am nervous for the upcoming years, though. Will I make friends? Will I sit alone at lunch, every day without anyone to talk to? Are the people friendly? I really hope that I do make friends, because it's hard enough moving to another state for your freshman year, but when it's highschool, it's that time where you've grown up with these people, so you know them! But they don't know me. I hope I make friends. I don't want to be lonely.
 God Bless,
 Love,

Last Day

Well, after a very quick 6 days, the time has come for my Dad and I to say goodbye to the mountains, and hello to Georgia once again.
I hate flying. With a passion. I have an over-active imagination, meaning I come up with the freakiest scenerios for the simplest things. And, just like last year, I am freaky out about a short plane ride from Denver to Altanta.
I am bringing all of my One Direction things with me. No question. My parents opinion is invalid. Today, my dad asked me if I was leaving anything in the car and not taking it on the plane. Heck to the no. I am not leaving behind those boys. Then he put a stack of paper on my bed and said, "We need to go through these." I instantly, literally he tried to get to them first but I beat him to it, grabbed the top two magazines and put them next to me. The rest I could care less about. Seriously, do what you please with the newspaper, just let me have my boys. Then, I tried to download music to my phone, but iTunes was being completely rediculous so I downloaded an app instead (which I'm listening to now, and the flaw is that there is some weird bass problem in the background...Oh well) I honestly hope the people next to me won't mind listening and looking at One Direction for three hours. I don't care.
 As always,

PS; I am deadly afraid of planes, if I didn't clarify that enough.

No, they can't look any bette--

I stand so corrected.

My legit reaction. SMILE.

High School

Today was a whirlwind of various activities, starting with going to the house again! To make sure the key we got worked, me and my dad went to the house and checked to see if it worked. Fortunatly, it did. We walked through the house again, and even saw the neighbors!
Then we went down to lunch, at red robin! It was good going someplace familiar, and I got the usual. A crispy chicked salad and iced tea. Now, for some reason sweet tea is foreign here. WHY!? Someone, NOW, needs to show up with a jug of that sweetness and make sure everyone has it in their homes. I don't care how it happens, just get me some sweet tea!
Afterwords, the hunt still continued for a vet for the cats. Unfortunatly, we have yet to find a good vet that does cheap boarding. Overpriced scams. Who said that?
And lastly, I am getting signed up for high school! I won't tell you what school, for privacy and safety reasons blah blah blah, but I will tell you that the schools here look like something you'd see in a movie- glass walls and multiple stories. Amazingggg.
Not a lot was said, but don't worry, the week ahead will make up for it!

Time Zones

So yesterday I meant to publish a new post explaining everything that had happened, but being very tired and not feeling the best, I fell asleep at 8, much earlier than planned. So I apologize.
However, today I went to see the inside of the house! The house was beautiful, actually much prettier the second time I saw it, and this time no neighbors were outside :(
I walked around and saw the bedrooms, very small, and settled on one in the basement, the farthest away from everyone, but the second biggest. Plus, there was a bathroom downstairs.
Outside the yard is full of green and plants, very big compared to the other surrounding homes, and well kept. The neighbors both have dogs, and while I was walking around, two dogs began running towards me and yapping really loudly. Thankfully, there was a fence seperating us, but that didn't stop them from coming right up.
All in all, the house is great and I will be glad when I finally move in. I think the neighbors are going to be really friendly, I just hope they actually go outside. Unlike my neighbors now.
So for now, I'll leave you with these two beautiful photos.

Kansas!

Alright, well as it turns out, I did end up leaving yesterday. My dad and I packed up the car (him  for the most part) and loaded the catss in the back seat. With all that, we were off at 6:18 P.M.
We drove until 2:30 EST, which was 1:30, in Alabama, where we stayed. The cats have been OKAY, but are quite cranky, considering the fact that they are in a crate the entire ride. Yesterday, they were alright, but that is probably because of the fact that they were drugged and asleep a good portion of the trip. (Except Gypsy, who was hilarious.) Gypsy did this little scared cat thing, where she would jerk her headn around fast and what made it adorable was the fact her eyes were super dialated, and the fact she cornered herself in a corner. Now Shadow, being the younger of the two, was asleep for a bit, until he heard me tell my dad he was sleeping, then he would jerk awake and look around. He was drugged, but didn't have an anxiety collar on, unlike Gypsy, who did.
Right now, I am sitting in a motel 6 and using their wifi, which I am quite hesitant about. Today, we drove through Arkansas and Oklahoman, and right now I am in Kansas. So far the day has not been well. Weve gotton lost twice, because of the street signs. Unlike Georgia, where there is a warning a little bit before the exit, here there are signs literally right as you go to exit. Which is not helpful when the road your directions tell you to tak is under construction, and traffic is rushing all around you.
Since were talking about rushing traffic, what is it with people being rude on the road?! Countless times today we've had people cut us off and not even tell us thank you. Other times, when the roads get merged and we let people in front of us willingly, there isn't so much as a thank-you then, either. I mean, what is it? Is this some new forgeign thing now or something? Even when we got in front of people, my dad would wave back a thank you! And I bet you, those people behind us, looked at that hand wave and thought, "What is that guy doing?" Since nobody around here says thank you! Uggh.
At one point, the road we were supposed to take, was closed, so we had to face oncoming traffic, and because of the signs, we missed a turn, causing us to go the wrong was for two hours. And for some reason, farming is in because that is all we saw- farmland! An open field here, a plot of soil there, nothing but farmland! For two hours. And what happens when your in the middle of a desrted highway surrounded in grassfields? You get no bars. And what happens when said phone has no bars? You get NO SERVICE. So for two hours, I had zero service. Gee, thanks Verizon. But, it was OK, because I had the One Direction cd. So I listened to that for a while.
Other than that, the ride was good.

Alright, gonna go, my dad and I are going to Applebee's!
God Bless,

Love,

Colorado Bound

 Today's the day!!
Today my dad and I will be making the long 24 hours drive to Colorado to go see our house! I guess were excited, I know I am! I'm really glad, though, that he got to come home early yesterday from training and this just means that we have more time to get to Colorado. Even though our flight leave on the 14.
I don't know exactly when were leaving today, but I am prepared to leave whenever. All of my stuff is packed now as we speak, and I am just waiting for the signal that were leaving!
Now, truth be told, my dad is pretty brave bringing me with him. The entire ride I plan on listening to One Direction, and nothing else. He probably won't care the first 2 hours, but after 3 days (expected travel time) he probably will be sick of me, and the boys. Oh well, he just needs to get used to it, since his daughter is a 24/7 fangirl...
That was pretty much my big news, the fact that were leaving today. I will take a lot of photos, and hope that the road is a pretty one! This is by far the longest ride I have ever been in, and I hope it goes smoothly. Especially since we will have two very cranky cats in the back seat....Eh :/
Anyways,
God Bless

So Excited!

Okay, just a heads up, this is going to be another crappy post. And, to be honest, I have no idea why I'm updating other than the fact that I am bored, and have nothing better to do. If you can't tell, I have way to much time on my hands. Oh well.
The entire day, just like all the rest, had been spent on the computer, to the point that where I only leave my room if an emergency. Like when I'm hungry. If I don't need to leave, I don't. However, in the morning, I began to pack. Currently I have 5 boxes packed. And, they're not big boxes, either. But, they're packed, and I have come to realize that I don't so much have big things, just a lot of small things. Maybe that's why I only have 5 boxes packed.
While packing, I decided to pull out my old sticker collection from when I was, I don't know, like 5, and go through to toss out most of it. Then I saw them. Their faces. At the bottom of the pile. It hit me like a wave, all the memories of when I was completely and utterly obbessed with them. The....er....Jonas Brothers. Alright, now you have to understand this was when I was in 5'th grade, and they were all the rage. I went through the stack and saw all the posters ranging from Nick Jonas to Dylan and Cole Sprouse from the Suite Life. I had no idea why I saved any of them, but it was funny to open up that sticker box and see them. Just like the stickers, I said goodbye (not literally...) and trashed them. It made me wonder, however, if my obbsession for One Direction is just a phase...or if it is finally a band I have fallen entirely in love with them.
On another note, I decided to make use of my spare time by trying to look up movies I have been wanting to see. The Notebook. Haha, that's it. The only one I can think of, anyway.
Since I am moving within the next 2 weeks, my mom told me that it was alright with her if I wanted my best friend to come and spend the night, given the fact chances are I won't ever see her again. Which stinks, since I've known her for 5 years, and she knows more about me then most. So far, the plan is that I go over to her house tomorrow and spend the night, and on Wednesday when I am dropped off, she spends the night at my house! It should be fun, and I will try to make the best of it, since, like previously stated, chances are that I won't see her for awhile. Even though I hope that the opportunity presents itself for her to fly over..I just don't think that's going to happen.

As always,
God Bless,
Love,
Aislinn

ugh, this is unhealthy I sware:
Can we just take a moment. Like, please.

You wouldn't need to ask me, just look at my computer files and you'd know--I'm completely and utterly in love with these five boys.

Simple, but Effective.

I really don't have much to say, other than the fact that my days in Georgia are dwindling down. So, I decided why not make a short and sweet post about my "Georgia Bucket List"! Here goes:

  1. Go hunting. Before I moved to Georgia to the place I live now, I had no idea what hunting was. However, throughout the years here, I have come to know that just about everybody in the south hunts. Knowing this, this made me want to hunt more-- to know what all the excitement was about! Sadly, however, this never happened.
  2. Ride A Four-Wheeler. Yet again, another one of those if you live in the south, you'd understand types of things. I have no idea what a four wheeler is, but I heard they're fun to ride (and wreck, but we won't go there)! I asked my friends, and most have in fact riden one. Unfortunatly, I never got the oppurtunity to try one out myself.
  3. Get my belly button pierced. Now granted, I could get this done in any state or place, but for a while now I've wanted it done, and was so close the other day! I just freak out. I get scared, not of the belly ring, but of the pain of getting it done. I have had numerous people tell me it doesn't hurt...But I refuse to believe them. My thing is, different people handle pain in different ways! Some people, can easily take pain, whilst others (me) are complete babies and hate pain. Thus, resulting in no belly button ring.
So, while this is not one of my best posts, I do want to tell you that I will be going on an exciting trip soon with my dad, so I will defiantly write more soon!

God bless,
Love,
Aislinn

Okay...Let's end with a photo...

Sorry..Couldn't help myself. Had to put the photos.

I know I have been a bit hazy on the subject of moving, but good news! I have plenty to share this post!

First off, I know when and where I am moving to. At first, it all depended on when someone would be moving into our house! (I'll get to that!) And, as of today, we now have a place to live when we get there! Now, at first it was very hard to find a home, since homes for rent are at a 99% occupancy rate, it makes it near impossible to rent a home from another state. Much less from the other side of the country.
Fortunatly for us, my mom found us a home that she LOVES and we will be moving into. And, fortunatly for me, it's more than one story!! (I just can't stand having a level house. Nope. Not happening.) AND I get my own room, since this house has enough! (At first my parents were going to have me and Maeve, my sister, share a room. NOT HAPPENING.)
Second, since we have a home, we now need people to move into our house, which we do! Thankfully, a couple is going to be renting our house and moving in shortly after we leave. I am sooo happy, because it feels like moving has been put on hold until we had people coming into our house! I hope they like it..
The third, and most important thing, is we have a date!! We now finally have a moving date! After a lot of preperation *Meaning zero* It was decided we are moving in 3 weeks. AHH I am legit so excited! I could just hug you through the computer screen! You know...if I knew you...and you weren't weird...
Anyway, I hope you will continue to read, and please follow, seriously..

God bless
Love
