2011

The journey is long.
The road taken is worn.
The things you do are just tests.
Pass, or fail.
Life.
This is what we go through.

Hello, fellow blogger! Like my poem? I wrote it myself :)
Its official...

This year will be different.
Exciting.
New.
Mysterious.
But before I skip ahead into this year, why not talk about last year? I will begin at Christmas time.
Christmas morning was a blast. I had NO idea what to expect. Still, I had no cell phone and the most I could do, was hope. I opened each one after putting my gifts in a pile, trying not to open any gifts. Mistakes happen, people. In other words, I missed a few that I opened but patched right up. I got so many cute and cool things. (Some worth crying and screaming about, others not.) But, my main 2 gifts (which I do LOVE) which are my favorites are this:
A FLIPPIN' DROID!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
And a LAPTOP!!!!! WHOOP! :)
When I got my cell phone I cried. Literally. No catch. I had wanted one since third grade. And I got one. My very own, my Droid. My, my, my cell phone. Not yours, mine. I even loved the DROID noise it made :)My laptop, I squealed. I didn't expect it and love it. In fact, words cannot describe the joy I feel. I adore this laptop. :)
Thank you.

Now, lets take a moment to think of the last year... Drama....Sadness....Joy.....Fear.....All revolved around 1 year. 1 set of 365 days. 24 hours in a day. All 1 year. So much happened, in so little time. I wish you luck in this year. Onto 2011...

What is your resolution? Studies show that most don't last more then a week! Will you be a quitter? A giver-upper? I wont. I plan not too. My new years resolution is to write down my everyday dream. A lot can happen in a dream, and I plan on documenting about it. Anyway, what do you think will happen this year? I hope that I get more friends. I try to make friends, but in middle school, their already in their groups and don't take 'requests'. Figure of Speech, people. I'm not desperate, I'm honestly not. But I don't, well I have 1, have a best friend. One you call a sister, (or brother for some) one who you invite over, no matter what time, distance, or day. One you relate too. I have 1 friend like that. Jennifer. I used to have a ton. Then we moved. Given the option to re-do that moving day, I'm not sure what I'd say, but I wish I could at least move back. I know I put my standards up high when I say "In the same house, same school." But not everything can happen. But I wont give up. Part of my resolution is to make friends. Not to replace, but make friends with people. Who knows what can be around the corner? You just need to look.
