That's not the case for every game. Especially, if that said game is in All-Stars.
Baseball is a well known sport. The rules are many, but simple. Like, 3 strikes and your out. But, that of course depends on the type of baseball. Now, I know what you're thinking, 'There is only one type of baseball you bimbo!' Yeah, okay, sure. NOT! There is more then one type. Like:
- A, B, C, & Babe Ruth Baseball
- Kirkland's Scott (at least where I live)
- All Stars (stay tuned)
For those of you that read my blog, countless times have I mentioned my siblings, Aidan, Declan, and Maeve. The thing about Aidan is he plays baseball. It's his thing. He has practiced and played and practiced and played for a lot of his life. Just this year (correct me if I'm wrong family) he made All-Stars. All Stars you could say is a BIG honor. In all of the All-Star there is a total of 6 teams. Aidan was picked to be in one of those teams! Now, the concept and general rules are hard to explain but I will try my hardest to keep it simple:
On Monday, 4 out of the 6 teams play ball. Each on a different field, so 2 on one field, and 2 on another. Now, the loser team of the two that played first then battle the other loser of the team that played second. Whichever team loses of those two, is eliminated. In simpler terms, double elimination and your out! Get it? If not, oh well!
Anyway, Aidan made it into the All Stars, and the county we live in hasn't ever made it past the first night. (Bad, huh?) Well guess where he stands? Second place in the division. Tonight is his last game. Not only will his face be in the paper (cool, huh?) and he will be going against the same team he fought first! (If you ask me, that team was favored by the score-keepers, cause they were given extra points for no reason!) Any who, that team is first in the division, since they didn't win against us. Grrr. And since they haven't lost a game, the double elimination rule is stronger then ever! So if we beat them the first game, we have to play them again for double elimination. Tiresome, huh? So, good luck Aidan and hopefully you win. Even though I wanted to go to the game, I cant. So right now I'm chilling with the family. Peace!
Good luck & God Bless,
Aislinn
