So, last night I was on Blogger and I had my WHOLE post done and then BOOM! My computor took me back to my home-page (Facebook) and did NOT save my blog post. I was annoyed but I moved on. :) Then, thinking there must be SOME reason why I was re-directed to Facebook multiple times, I went to facebook. And guess what I saw? Miss Madison herself posting photos of the Wicked trip! (Julie did too and I am sure they are not the only two that posted albums on facebook) And one of her photos that caught my eye was the ''group'' photo that everybody took. Hello?!? Where was I in this photo? Or Kati, or Mia, or Cheyenne? Or MOST 7'th graders! Instead those that werent ''cool enough to be in Madison's photo'' were replaced by those kids' SIBLINGS! Sometimes I wonder if these things are worth all the drama it causes me.
Today I brought my new car in for science. (I am not sure if I previously mentioned, but I had a project due Friday and since mine was a fail, the teacher sent me home to re-do it. By fail, I mean it wouldnt move.) So I brought it in, and the car did move. Except it curved. I told my teacher and she told me to make some new wheels. With my newly-made wheels, I ran my car. IT WORKED! Going into the class, I told my teacher.
"Yay!" She exclaimed. Then she proceded to tell me how she would take it up. And how I would race my car representing (partially) my team. The whole time she tells me this I am going:
'Uh-huh..Yes... Uh huh..' Not knowing I would have to RACE my car in front of the school! She was supposed to take the cars with the farthest distance, and she didnt even know how far mine went!!! I really dont want to race mine, so I will tell her that I dont feel comfortable getting up in front of everyone. (Which I dont.) Also I will pray, which always helps.
In language arts I took a Benchmark test. (I just found out what this kind of test is, and it is like a skills test. It tells us how much we know and shows the state that ''Yes, our teachers DO teach us!" Maybe they should read my blog..) We couldnt study for it, since we had no idea what it would cover. And personally, it was pretty easy. Mainly about simple, compound, complex, ect.
To top my day off, I got a card from Poland today. I have a pen-pal there and she was nice enough to send me a Happy Birthday card! :) I think that is so sweet and kind.
So, yesterday I was telling my dad how Declan & Maeve seem to be catching a cold. I told him I dont think I am, but I just have a stuffy nose. He nodded. Today, I had the WORST stuffy/runny nose. AND to top it off, some of my teachers had NO tisses, just paper towles. And not the white, soft ones. The brown, cardboard bathroom ones. So, tomorrow I am bringing some tissues, and I hope I dont have a cold, because that would ruin my birthday.
Another thing that happened was today my grandmother- I call her Nanie - sent everybody a box of stuff. For me, I got 2 things. One, a cupcake memo- pad (Personally, I really like this, it is so CUTE!) And a similar cupcake journal. (Again, really like this) I think that was kind of her.
Well, I hope you ALL have a wonderful October the 3'rd, and a GREAT October 4'th!!!
Love and God Bless
Aislinn
