Second Guesses...

Let's be honest. The only colleges you hear about are
  1. Ivy League
  2. State colleges (the BIG ones)
So, of all places I am taking a field trip to, it has to be a...small college. No, it isn't Georgia University, or Auburn...Or even Georgia Tech! It is so small that for the sake of this college, I will call it Technical. (No, that isn't its real name, just part of it.) So tomorrow I take a field trip. To a college (If you couldn't guess..) And this college is small. So small its book store looks like an elementary school library. Hopefully, not every college is this depressing. :) I even debated whether or not bringing some money for a tee-shirt! I quickly realized one thing- that answer was no. I talked to my Dad about the tee-shirt, and he pointed out some very true things. The end result:
I will not waste my money.
Homeroom is like a freebie class. In this class we read. And every year I end up in a class with people who hate reading! Weird, huh? I, however, love reading! Reading is just fun. I read everyday, and in fact finished one of my library books today! (I am on hold for the next book in the series: Monster High) But, when you have a free class, why do you have vocab? Or tests? Hello, freebie?! This is the class where we should be studying for academic quizzes, or, reading! Not studying for homeroom tests!! In fact, my moto for a test is:
I don't study, I pass.
:) So, there ya have it.
Drama...was drama. I am so sick and tired of Bailey, our "leader" saying, 'I hate being mean, I am really not.' What do you call telling us to be quiet every 30 seconds when your the one talking? Huh?! Sigh. Maybe it is just me. I don't talk, though, so thankfully I am not her target. :) We are getting farther along in the song, the talking needs to stop. Mainly, for some reason beyond my comprehension, Julie seems to think she is the leader. No, your not. Somehow the focus is always on her and her only. Emily is the choreographer, and Bailey the "leader". What is Julie? I don't remember her being assigned anything... But, I am not in charge, so I am trying not to let it bug me. (I just hate it when people, especially leaders, show favoritism. I mean, what happened to the rest of the crew?) Sigh.
Health ticks me off. Mia, who says she talks to me yet never does, is always talking and laughing with the girls next to her. And they are...weird. I don't really like them. At all. Like this is one of the conversations:
Girl named Shelby: Hey, hey you!
Me: *nothing*
Shelby: Girl in the pineapple Wiley shirt!
Me: This girls name is Aislinn
Mia: Oh, you just got told! *smiles at Shelby* High 5 Aislinn!
Shelby: OK, you don't need to have an attitude.
Oh, puh-lease. Don't try and fool me with your ''fake stupidity'' act. I have seen better.
Science was boring. As usual. Erghhh.
Math was OK. One kid short circuited our whole hallway, but nothing real exciting happened other then that.
Language arts...Urg. Don't get me started, it was just like science.
Social studies could have been better.

Well, now ya have it! :)
Bless,
Love
358 days,
Aislinn
